happy friday every one!

everyone has some cancer cells in their body. the difference between ME (the confused one with LOTS of cancer cells setting up camp and expeditions to nether parts) and YOU (the healthy one, naturally pruning the cancer as you go along) is our immune system.
chemo is a piece of how i choose to respond to this situation, and i still think in the end, it's going to be how healthy i can make the overall ecosystem that will determine my ultimate outcome. mind, body, spirit in happy collaboration seems like an appropriate goal!
seeking peace, harmony, happiness, love: what a beautiful thing! and i would say achievable, regardless of what state my body is in for this moment... because at some basic level, my soul is not bound up in the health of my earthly vessel and i can celebrate the things that are not tied up in cancer's grip since it is THOSE things that i most want to identify with...
today was a day off from drugs. my body is complaining about being poisoned, so i hold my bloody nose and bleeding gums in compassionate embrace, expecting that tomorrow will be a new day and i'll have more opportunities to be kind to myself... on the happy side of body woes, my feet have mostly recovered from their cracking/bleeding grumpiness {i really like a product from Young Living called Rose Ointment... really helped them to heal}
