so, at least for this series, half done! WOOT... well, i guess at least half administered -- still has the lovely chemical romp through my system to accomplish before i can declare it "done" in the true sense of the word...
i told my friend this morning that's like noticing you're halfway done with a marathon -- yes, it is an accomplishment, but many miles to pound (or walk) before the series is properly in the history books.
starting to scheme for a trip in June to acknowledge the end of this chemo series (those of you who know my passion for travel are oh so NOT surprised at that!!!) in this case, will be a primary trip and a contingency or two for decreased energy levels... OH so necessary to have something to look forward to!
and in the ongoing sweetness category, came home today to a UPS box on the doorstep -- cookies from David's -- no note -- so if you ordered to have sent to me, know that i'm blessing you in mystery and if you want a particular thank you, you just might have to acknowledge your hand in making them real! LOL i went off to David's web site to ask for more details... filled out a form and they cleared it and said "try again later" -- and so i shall, with less hopefulness than for round one...
in general, doing OK enough. although i think i need a nap... or a cookie! maybe both...
