crows, eyelashes, and housing (yes, random!)

PG entertainment, the local crows...

Birds here in SLC, but not particularly crows.  There were a collection of them in Pacific Grove -- I remember being particularly annoyed by one's harsh recurrent calls until i realized it was grieving... leaving the apartment, i saw another crow had been killed by a car... it was several days of remembrance, which reminded me that we tend to trivialize their intelligence and emotional depth.  Apart from that incident, most of the time they were just curious and entertaining and playful with each other and things they would find in the area.

I'm down to ONE lower eyelash for each eye (but bonus! symmetrical again... LOL) and a smattering of upper lashes.  I guess i'll be curious to see if my body keeps those last two or if i start from scratch.  Still a bit of scraggly head hair and noticeable thinning in the body hair department.  I remember itching a lot when my arm casts came off after i broke them -- but had lots of dark hair that i worked on arranging neatly...  now most of the dark arm hair gone, but the peach fuzz remains.

Finished my collection of library books and think that means i should wander back to my quilting project which i have been neglecting.

In the "where should i live?" angst department, have been considering the rent-or-buy question... and once again it's back to life expectancy -- a one-year time frame makes renting much more practical (both for me and the people who have to tidy-up once i am gone...); 5+ might encourage the buy route (but comes with more risk if i get ill enough that i am not earning enough to cover the mortgage)

thankfully i don't have to decide today!
