this is the picnic size for this quilt -- not sure i would make another one this particular size, but this pattern intrigues me -- LOTS of cutting, sets of blocks, then assembly comes together pretty fast and easy -- i expect some variation of this theme to show up in my world going forward... and now once again i have a plethora of scraps!!! LOL

the postcard class had materials for six cards... i barely finished this one and haven't gone back to my stash to look for other patterns and fabric that interests me for the remaining 5... but they might find me one day bored and rise to the top of the heap! LOL
haven't touched the tote which probably needs a couple more days of attention. there are real quilts calling me (some finishes almost around the bend!!!) and some creative juices flowing about things i could do, with my stash or supplementing my stash...
these days i don't seem to get as much done as i want -- perhaps because i am ultra kind to myself, and whenever i feel a bit of a twinge from concentrating or sitting too long, i take a break or go for a walk or read or make myself an iced mint lemonade
so i guess i have to accept it and embrace it -- "this too" seems like a recurring lesson in my universe...
