i guess it's allowed for me to be a mess, for as long as it takes...

i quit my job yesterday.  it's been a long time coming and carries it's own particular heartbreak, but it was the right thing to do.  my last day will be the 13th of march. i will focus on getting my health and my life into some realm of sanity, and then reintroduce work to the mix.

pre-registered for my next test.  i'm glad the man couldn't see my face when he said "your portion of the fee for this, Ms. Rigby, comes to $982.00...  would you like to take care of that now, or when you arrive?"

i guess sometimes the quest for answers is expensive.  ironically, i'm more interested in the structural assessment than the oncologist's driving force for why the test was ordered (possible that we will add radiation to my mix of care)

i tend to believe you can't radiate me everywhere i hurt, so it seems a bit impractical to zap me -- as the radiation specialist told me last year, like taking a fire extinguisher to a forest fire... but we'll see. that could have been the right analogy for then and we may decide something different now...

  1. Congratulations on your new found freedom from work! :) Yikes about the new test - I hope it is helpful in the long run, to justify the expense. :S Hope you are feeling well! We think of you often - you are always in our hearts and prayers. You are loved!!! ~Sarah
