she dreamed i gave it to her unfinished!!!

but i was working hard on it to have it ready PRE-surgery, since i didn't know how willing i would be to focus on binding with a sore belly...




 These stars in the border became one of my favorite parts of the quilt; expect i'll be using that pattern somewhere else too!!!

There were hundreds of leftover half-square triangles (i had used a width-of-fabric section and paper role to piece them). SO, i made a second quilt and a complete little (NICU-sized, 20"x24") from the leftovers.  This was one of the things i worked on while at Snowbird
quilting on spare one of my favorites: double-ferns-and-flowers

I've sent these to their happy new home, and now cutting out a wedding quilt for my friends in Alaska... they promised me an invitation, i promised to seriously consider the trip... but a bit of flannel love will go their way regardless of whether i join it!
