incisions (one more than i was expecting! LOL) doing well -- i can feel fine and then be utterly exhausted, so sure that i am still on that healing journey, day by day
less inclined to sit with a bag of ice and stare at the dust motes, so i expect it is perfect!
i see the oncologist next week (Friday) for bone drugs and possible meds adjustment. from my point of view, it makes no sense to remain on estrogen-receptor meds if i am no longer able to produce estrogen... so i do expect some adjustment, just not sure to what or if i get a break... so we shall see.
got the first of the bills for surgery... only $19,500 for the pleasure of the day in outpatient care... haven't seen the anesthetist or surgeon bills yet, so we'll see where the grand total ends up. it just seems astonishingly expensive on so many levels
and i am thankful for insurance... and out-of-pocket maximums! altho in my case the co-pay requirements still seem to apply, so i get dinged every visit and visit a lot!
my birthday rate increase of almost 25% still hurts, but in the grand scheme of things, i realize i am a bad risk in their pool, and it's only the recent legislation that protects me from being dropped altogether...
Glad to hear you are still your optimistic, funny self! Love your humor and positive cheerfulness - you are such an inspiration! :) Sorry for the bills :( but very grateful you are still insured!!! Thinking of you often, and sending positive thoughts your way! I love the updates!
