yes, it took a chunk of windshield w/ it!

in the midst of repair with JB Weld, and going well... had to laugh at the clerk at Pet Boys -- he didn't quite believe my choice of product until going to the parking lot to actually look at it!  wanted me to buy the std stuff that holds the button on, but i thought i needed multi-surface and strong epoxy-style adhesive...  if the repair doesn't survive, i'll get a new windshield and say "i tried!"

my sister bought me gelatine capsules a long time ago -- i have been filling them with my choice of essential oils, and now freezing a supply {so that they don't leak LOL}  however, it is a rather tedious and time-consuming process... and now with this handy little gadget i can do it 6 at a time!!!  i feel very spoiled... all i had to do was ask and it got to the top of the list of things to make (even though i said it wasn't urgent!)

i wanted to share a photo of my sweet friend Alice -- we went to the springville quilt show this week -- it was a bit too much for my neck in its current state of grumpiness, but nonetheless fun!

she was telling me she went to the Apple store for her i-pad lessons, and the instructor told her she's not his oldest student -- he's taught someone 107!!! merely 97, she just might be here a decade from now, exploring the latest technical products and hopefully still quilting!!!  i so enjoy how she chooses to be so nice about admiring other people's workmanship (the most negative things she chooses to say are along the lines of "i don't particularly care for...") i think her basic assumption is that we are all able to be uniquely creative and it's not her worry if it's not to her taste or if they make mistakes

we were in the first room of the museum and i heard "BEA!!!" -- how about perfect timing!  My new friend from Payson (that i bonded with in Midway) was also there -- she had a quilt displaying:
