to Alaska and back again...

Been to the Last Frontier... wedding was nice, here's a "selfie" of the couple they posted to Facebook soon after the event...

they liked the lap quilt, some people remembered me from prior trip(s), and the weather cooperated for the actual ceremony and reception {worried by pouring rain the night before}

Bears in the area, but i did not see any... however, happy to stop for the moose mother and twins on the road to Homer

saw eagles and other birds, some in our party saw caribou

Homer was nice... the funniest excitement there was the boats from Deadliest Catch docked on a private portion of the harbour... DeDe (bride's aunt) was beyond excited about that!

on the way home, Mt Rainier was lovely, with the moon above that looked a lot bigger in real life than it appears in the photo

i picked up my new meds today... really hoping that they make me more comfortable.  Conner (DeDe's youngest son) decided i looked like the mom on the Lorax movie, so i promised him i would change my profile pix in Facebook to honor that...

can't say i am a fan of the fur-ball look, but keep reminding myself it's better than NO hair... perhaps i will just go with it and get myself round glasses... ;)
