and on a heavier (and lighter) note...

so i had this titled "and on a lighter note..." and realized that the metal i'm about to speak of is MUCH heavier than a chart... but also lighter in the less-of-a-distressing-statistic sense...

Some of you know my friend Lauren -- and the ongoing artistic talent that she displays and recently has been expressing in metal.  it has been interesting for us to talk about the design of a piece, realizing that i look at them the way i look at quilts... LOL, perhaps i look at most everything like i look at quilts!!!
