Peggy's gift has a hanging sleeve and will end up in my foyer... the first and only quilt on display in my home (which might be ironic if you think about how many quilts i have made...) quilts that i finish rarely stay in my world for long -- usually they have a recipient before i pay to have them stitched...

someone asked me about putting my work in shows or the fair and i said "hmm, couldn't do that, don't have ANY of my quilts at the moment!" and it is how i like it -- i always imagined my creations off having interesting lives of their own rather than being stowed away in a closet of mine...

expect that will change in the next year, since i have plans to complete a quilt with some blocks my mom started and i doubt i will be quick to part with THAT finished item!
