puttering about Alice Springs...

we shopped, we wandered to a botanical garden, then to an afghan/natural-products store, then to a nearby gorge, then to an art gallery...  a delightful way to spend a spitty-rain day.

tomorrow we begin the transition to the coast... we'll get to Brisbane, then up early on Friday for flight/transfer to Heron Island

perhaps more relevant other times in the year!

we will be missing the Beanie Festival coming up this weekend...  i tried on some hats today and decided i can wait for my hair to return... Kelly says i'm getting more fuzz up top than when she first saw me and i agree... starting to be able to see a hairline again...  and there are brow hairs poking through, but not many of them so patience remains essential...
